The Bed in the Shed is a double room, which can also be made up as a twin. There is a TV, Wi-Fi, en-suite bathroom, underfloor heating and a terrace to enjoy the evening sunshine. We also supply coffee, teas, biscuits and fruit in your room. The Bed in the Shed is located in an area of outstanding natural beauty and the newly created South Downs National Park at the top of the Meon Valley in Hampshire. Close to Goodwood which prides itself with a beautiful racecourse, the Festival of Speed and the Revival. The coast is within a 20 minute drive as well as ferry services to the Isle of Wight. The nearest station is Petersfield, one hour from London Waterloo and there is always a local taxi driver to take you to your destination.
Breakfast is served to suit you (within reason!!) and is a feast – including yoguart, fresh fruit, home made marmalade and local sausages and bacon. Within our bed and breakfast accommodation there are two other rooms which are sometimes available which makes it a useful place to be for local wedding guests. These are in the house so don’t have that precious feeling of freedom and tranquility in such a beautiful location.
There are three great pubs nearby, that all serve dinner; The Thomas Lord in West Meon and Ye Olde George Inn and The Izaak Walton in East Meon.
